Job Summary

Quality Precast is seeking a Project Manager to oversee underground precast projects from sales turnover through production. This role serves as the critical link between sales, engineering, customers, vendors, and manufacturing, ensuring projects move efficiently through design coordination, customer approvals, submittals, and production release.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in interpreting civil plans, preparing submittals, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in a growing precast manufacturer while building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Manage projects from sales turnover through final release to production.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, engineers, and project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project schedules, approvals, design revisions, and customer requirements.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, correspondence, and status updates.
  • Successfully manage multiple active projects while meeting critical deadlines.

Design & Submittal Coordination

  • Review civil plan sets, specifications, and project documents.
  • Prepare accurate submittal packages for underground precast products.
  • Utilize Titan software to manage product details, takeoffs, and project information.
  • Interpret civil drawings to identify product dimensions, elevations, quantities, and technical requirements.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and manage assigned product lines.
  • Coordinate technical questions with customers, engineers, sales, and internal departments.
  • Ensure all submittals are accurate and released according to project schedules.

Customer & Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate specialty resale items with outside vendors.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, engineers, and internal teams.
  • Work closely with production and engineering to ensure projects transition smoothly into manufacturing.
  • Support the company's commitment to outstanding customer service and project execution.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Preferred

  • Underground precast concrete design or project management experience.
  • Experience preparing submittals from complete civil plan sets.
  • Titan software experience.
  • Knowledge of underground utility structures, drainage products, manholes, catch basins, vaults, or related precast products.
  • Experience coordinating customers, vendors, and engineering teams.
  • Construction takeoff experience.
