Position Summary
Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Senior Ontology Expert/Project Manager to support USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS task order. This role involves overseeing project execution, ensuring compliance, and managing contractor deliverables in the DoD ontology domain.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee project execution, ensure compliance, and manage contractor deliverables.
  • Deliver project outcomes in the DoD ontology domain, including ontology development, knowledge graph integration, and support for DoD geospatial and all-source analysis.
  • Utilize skills in SysEngOps, DevSecOps, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Apply experience with Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) processes.
  • Use programming skills in Python, R, SQL/NoSQL, PostgreSQL, and ESRI (ArcGIS/ArcPy).
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering Management, or a closely related field -OR- a minimum of 11 years experience managing complex technical projects, particularly in ontology development, with a strong background in SysEngOps, DevSecOps, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
