Job description

Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Logistics Manager to provide acquisition support for the Technical Advisory and Assistance Services (TAAS) program at Hanscom AFB.  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities
  • Direct, develop, or perform logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or other designated program. 
  • Identify the specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program.
  • Correlate requirements with program plan to assure that the needed support is provided at the right time and place.
Qualifications

10+ years experience in acquisition and logistics support.  Bachelor's degree in a related field.  Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements.  Extensive knowledge of how software builds are developed and sustained in a DoD depot environment.  Knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning during each phase.  Extensive experience with defense acquisition management processes in accordance with the DoD 5000.  Knowledge of the DoD's integrated product support element structure.  Able to lead a project team in completing complex projects.  Knowledge of agency program planning, funding, and management information systems.  Broad knowledge of the organization and functions of activities involved in providing logistical support.  Able to coordinate and evaluate the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements and to develop and adjust plans and schedules for the actions needed to meet each requirement on time.  Able to integrate the separate functions in planning or implementing a logistics management program.  Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative project team.  Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Visio and Project.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance.

The projected compensation range for this position is $160,700-$183,000. There are multiple factors that can impact a final salary, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (if remote or different from the stated location for this position), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
