Regional Operations Leader

Seva Dental Team

Columbus, OH • Remote

Full-time

Posted 23 days ago

Job description

Multi-site leadership. Big energy. Zero fear of dashboards.
We’re looking for a Regional Operations Leader ideally based in the Columbus area who knows how to run a region without turning into a hall monitor with a KPI obsession. Someone who can coach Practice Managers, partner with doctors, drive performance, fix what’s off, and keep culture from drifting into “everyone is stressed and no one is saying it out loud.”  This position will be based remotely and travel to practice locations ~75% of the time.
This role is for a leader who can walk into a practice, spot the bottleneck, support the people, tighten the operation, and leave things better than they found them.
You’ll be the bridge between strategy and real-life execution.
Which means yes, you need to understand numbers.
But also humans.
But also operations.
But also how one busted schedule can somehow ruin everyone’s Tuesday.
What you’ll actually do
You’ll lead a group of Ohio-based Seva Dental Team practices and own the beautiful, chaotic middle between vision and execution.
That means you’ll:
Lead people like a grown-up
  • Coach and develop Practice Managers so they can actually lead, not just put out fires
  • Support Lead Doctors in building healthy, high-performing practices
  • Create accountability without making the whole room tense
  • Reinforce a culture that feels clear, energized, and aligned with the way we do things at Seva
Keep operations tight
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple Ohio practices
  • Make sure scheduling, workflows, SOP execution, and Denticon integrity are not being held together by caffeine and crossed fingers
  • Partner on staffing, onboarding, training, and performance management so practices are well-supported and fully functioning
Own the numbers
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, overhead control, and operational performance across your region
  • Review KPIs like production, collections, patient flow, and provider utilization
  • Ask smart questions, find the real issue, and do something useful about it
  • Work closely with Finance and Revenue Cycle to improve collections, reduce AR, and manage expenses
Protect the patient experience
  • Help practices deliver an experience that makes patients want to come back and send their friends
  • Support referral growth, marketing execution, and new patient momentum
  • Identify operational improvements that make life better for patients and teams
Turn strategy into reality
  • Translate company goals into actual action at the practice level
  • Lead performance check-ins, practice reviews, and operational audits
  • Support new practice onboarding, integrations, and leadership transitions when needed
Who you are
You might be our person if you:
  • Have multi-site dental leadership experience
  • Know how to lead through people, not just around them
  • Can hold standards and relationships at the same time
  • Are organized, analytical, and calm in complexity
  • Can coach a manager, challenge a metric, and reset a room without making it awkward
  • Understand that culture is not snacks in the break room. It’s how the place runs when things get hard.
What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred
  • At least 3 years of multi-site dental leadership experience
  • Strong track record of operational and financial results
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Comfort with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and practice management systems
  • Denticon experience preferred
  • Ability to balance empathy, accountability, and execution without dropping any of the three
The logistics
  • Ideally based remotely in the Columbus, Ohio area, with regular travel to practices across the state (~75% travel)
  • Mileage reimbursement provided
  • Flexible hours based on business needs
  • Some longer days may happen during integrations, leadership meetings, or special projects
So no, this is not a hide-behind-email kind of role.
This is for someone who likes being in the action, influencing outcomes, supporting leaders, and helping practices get sharper, stronger, and more successful.
Why Seva
At Seva, we believe great operations should support great care. We believe culture matters. We believe accountability and kindness can exist in the same building. And we believe patients can feel when a practice is led well.
Our core values are not just decorative office garnish:
  • Win as a Team: Supporting each other and celebrating success together.
  • Be the Solution: Taking accountability for finding answers and solving challenges.
  • Better Every Day: Committing to continuous improvement and growth.
  • Serve with a Smile: Putting patients and team members first while delivering exceptional experiences

In plain English
If you can lead managers, drive performance, improve operations, protect culture, and keep multiple Ohio practices moving in the right direction without becoming a spreadsheet warlord, we’d love to talk.
