U.S. Shoring & Equipment | Euless, Texas

Serving Texas Contractors for Over 20 Years

For over 20 years, U.S. Shoring & Equipment has been helping contractors build safer jobsites through trench safety systems, specialty rental equipment, and industry-leading service.

We're looking for a Yard Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of our yard and rental fleet. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for developing people, maintaining equipment readiness, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring every customer receives equipment that is clean, inspected, and ready to work.

If you're the type of leader who believes accountability starts with yourself, enjoys building strong teams, and isn't afraid to jump in alongside your crew, we'd like to talk.

Why Join U.S. Shoring?

  • Competitive Compensation
  • Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, 401(k), and Paid Time Off
  • Strong Team Culture
  • Stable, Growing Organization
  • Safety-First Work Environment
  • Opportunity to make a lasting impact on the operation

Responsibilities

The Yard Operations Manager is responsible for the overall organization, safety, efficiency, and performance of the yard.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the yard team through daily direction and accountability.
  • Plan and prioritize daily workloads to ensure equipment is ready when our customers need it.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, professional yard that reflects our company standards.
  • Ensure all rental equipment is inspected, cleaned, repaired when necessary, and prepared to Rent Ready standards.
  • Oversee equipment check-in and check-out procedures, documenting damage and communicating repair needs promptly.
  • Work closely with Rental Coordinators, Sales, Service, Drivers, and Management to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Monitor fleet condition and work with the service department to minimize downtime.
  • Enforce company safety policies and lead by example.
  • Conduct daily yard walks and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Promote a culture built on accountability, teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.
  • Support customers by ensuring timely loading, unloading, and equipment staging.

Qualifications

  • Previous leadership experience in construction equipment, rental, industrial operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience leading teams while holding high standards.
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction equipment preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Forklift and heavy equipment experience preferred.
  • Strong computer and communication skills.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Leads by example.
  • Holds people accountable while earning their respect.
  • Build’s teams instead of managing individuals.
  • Communicates clearly and consistently.
  • Takes ownership of problems and finds solutions.
  • Understands that safety, quality, and customer service go hand in hand.
  • Takes pride in creating an operation where everyone knows what "right" looks like.
