Yard & Operations Coordinator

Location: Henderson, NC
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $23-25/hr

Are you someone who enjoys variety in your workday and thrives in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for an organized, hands-on Operations Coordinator to support daily office operations while serving as the right-hand person to the Operations Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with leadership experience who enjoys balancing administrative responsibilities with operational support.
No two days are the same! You'll assist with customer service, invoicing, scheduling, inventory, and office administration while also helping oversee daily yard operations and supporting production activities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by phone, email, and in person
  • Process invoices and maintain accurate records
  • Perform data entry and administrative tasks using Microsoft Office
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating daily operations
  • Support inventory and yard organization
  • Help supervise daily workflow and assist with employee coordination
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to keep operations running efficiently
  • Jump in wherever needed to support the team and ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Comfortable working in both an office and outdoor operational environment
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a sawmill, lumber, production, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment is highly preferred
  • Experience with invoicing, office administration, or operations support
  • Background supporting operations, logistics, or production teams is a plus
