Job Summary
A heavy haul trucking company based in Conroe, TX, is seeking a dependable and organized Yard Manager to oversee daily yard operations and support the safe, efficient movement of equipment and trailers. This role is responsible for managing yard flow, coordinating equipment placement, maintaining organization of the yard, and ensuring trailers, trucks, and specialized heavy haul equipment are properly staged and accounted for.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and experience working in a trucking or heavy equipment environment. Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily yard operations and maintain a safe, organized work environment
• Coordinate movement and staging of trailers, trucks, and heavy haul equipment
• Monitor inbound and outbound equipment to ensure accurate tracking and placement
• Work closely with dispatch, drivers, maintenance, and operations teams
• Inspect yard equipment and report damage, safety concerns, or maintenance needs
• Ensure trailers and equipment are properly parked, secured, and ready for dispatch
• Maintain inventory and location records for trailers, equipment, and yard assets
• Enforce company safety procedures and yard policies
• Coordinate with maintenance to schedule repairs and service as needed
• Assist with general yard housekeeping and operational support Qualifications
