Yard Manager
Department: Yards
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Dushore, PA
Description
As a Yard Manager, you'll oversee the organization, maintenance, and dispatch of tools, vehicles, and rental equipment for our operations. This role supports multiple departments in a fast-paced environment and ensures that equipment, logistics, and yard operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
This role will be based out of our Wysox, PA yard facility.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate procurement and manage vendor relationships for tools, parts, and rentals
  • Track, schedule, and maintain all owned and rented equipment
  • Organize and maintain inventory, yard layout, and storage systems
  • Schedule drivers and manage transportation logistics (internal and 3rd party)
  • Monitor routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on vehicles and equipment
  • Oversee equipment delivery and readiness for job sites
  • Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company standards
  • Support mechanics with tagging, repair scheduling, and service planning
  • Maintain clean, organized yard operations with clear communication to operations teams

Requirements
  • High school diploma or trade school equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience managing equipment, tools, and yard operations
  • Valid PA driver's license and clean driving record
  • Forklift and loader experience preferred
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Basic computer proficiency (inventory tracking, dispatch tools, spreadsheets)
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to assist with equipment repairs
  • Ability to work independently and respond to urgent needs as required
  • Full-Time | On-site | May include occasional weekend or emergency support
  • Outdoor and equipment-based work in varying conditions
