Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Accountabilities

Recruiting and Hiring

  • Manage recruiting and applicant tracking software by posting job openings and gathering new applicant information
  • Coordinate communication with candidates regarding interviews, screenings and orientations
  • Work with the Human Resources team on the company's recruitment strategy and employment branding
  • Identify and source potential candidates through social media, networking events, job boards, e-mail marketing, educational institutions and industry associations.
  • Work with local trade schools and high schools, to assist with hiring and marketing of construction as a career
  • Attend career fairs and other recruiting events
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and more efficient ways to source and attract talent to the office and the field
  • Develop internal and external networks to support passive sourcing efforts.
  • Set up pre-employment screenings

Human Resources Coordination

  • Maintain employee files and human resources filing system
  • Maintain employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resources information confidential
  • Compile reports and spreadsheets
  • Assist with company events

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Related associates or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced computer experience with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
