Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR analytics platforms, and proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel or Tableau is typically required. Attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to interpret data trends are standout soft skills in this role. These competencies enable Recruiting Analysts to identify hiring patterns, optimize recruitment strategies, and support efficient, data-driven hiring decisions.

What are some common challenges recruiting analysts face when collaborating with hiring managers?

Recruiting Analysts often navigate the challenge of aligning data-driven insights with hiring managers' expectations and timelines. While analysts rely on metrics to recommend sourcing strategies or candidate profiles, hiring managers may prioritize immediate needs or subjective preferences. Effective communication and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations are key to bridging this gap. Building strong relationships and setting clear expectations help ensure that data-informed decisions lead to successful hiring outcomes.

Job description

We're looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who enjoys digging into the "why" behind the numbers. This role goes beyond traditional reporting—you'll partner with leaders across the business to help understand performance, identify opportunities, and support strategic decisions that drive growth.

The right person is analytical, naturally curious, and eager to learn how the business operates. You aren't afraid to ask questions, challenge assumptions, or look for better ways of doing things. If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, building relationships with business partners, and turning data into meaningful insights, we'd love to meet you.

What you'll be doing:

  • Prepare and own recurring financial reporting and analysis that supports forecasting, operational planning, and strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with teams across Operations, Intake, Recruitment, and Leadership to understand business performance and provide actionable financial insights.
  • Perform ad hoc financial and operational analyses, including scenario modeling, trend analysis, and business case support.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate the story behind the numbers, including variances between actual results, forecasts, and prior periods.
  • Support acquisition-related initiatives, including financial integration activities and development of pro forma budgets.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process by partnering with operational leaders to develop assumptions and evaluate business performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and simplify financial reporting and analytical processes.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to work comfortably with large datasets.
  • 3 years of Big Four or comparable public accounting experience REQUIRED.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative finance team where your work will have visibility and impact.

Reach out to learn more!
