Job description

Reno Staffing is looking for a professional, communicative team-player to join our internal Recruiting team! From talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees. A successful recruiter will develop and nurture strong relationships with candidates, job seekers, associate employees, internal staff and clients. Our ideal recruiter is ambitious, reliable and professional. You must have prior experience dealing with the general public as well as superior customer service and communication skills. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees for our clients.
Shift: Monday- Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
Location: Reno, NV 89502

Responsibilities
Job Duties include providing information on staffing services offered, open positions, hiring processes, Reno-area employment, etc. You will meet with applicants and walk-ins face to face to discuss needs. You will be required to take calls and answer questions from employees and job seekers.
Your goal is the filling of job orders: Posting job ads, preparing recruitment materials, sourcing and recruiting, assessing applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes, scheduling interviews, interviewing potential employees, background checks, drug tests, screening/verifying employees. This position is very reliant on accurate administrative skills, superior customer service and data entry.
You must be on top of your game! Follow up with employees and clients all day, every day on: any scheduled interviews, paperwork completion, work assignments, terminations, injuries, no call-no shows, people calling in sick, etc.

Must have pleasant phone etiquette and a friendly, professional demeanor
Comfortable with interviewing and meeting with candidates in person
Comfortable with heavy phone and email communication
Must have great computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Applications
Must be well spoken and comfortable meeting with clients
Must be productive, proactive and comfortable working with minimal supervision and direction
Must be outgoing

Proven professional work experience (recruiter experience helpful)
Extensive experience with phone use in a professional setting
Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong decision-making skills
Online marketing and social media experience a plus!
Bilingual in Spanish and English also a plus!
