Program Overview: 
The Corporate Recruiter Internship (SkillBridge) is a dynamic opportunity to gain valuable experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, and staffing within a corporate environment. As an intern, you will play a key role in supporting the recruitment efforts for our partner brands, ensuring headcount needs are met across the Legacy Service Partners’ platform. You will collaborate with LSP’s Talent Acquisition team to help build a pipeline of candidates, conduct initial interviews, and assist with the selection and onboarding of new hires. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Candidate Pipeline Development: Develop a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for open positions within the assigned region(s). 
  • Interviewing & Screening: Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit for specific roles. 
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, provide recruitment updates, and assist in the interview and selection process. 
  • Onboarding & New Hire Support: Collaborate with partner brand and other relevant teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for selected candidates, including preparing offer letters, gathering necessary documentation, and coordinating orientations. 

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Program Structure: The SkillBridge Internship will be completed over a period of 90-180 days, allowing you to immerse yourself in the recruiting process and gain practical, on-the-job experience. At the end of each period, interns will be assessed on their understanding and application of the skills and knowledge they have learned during the program. 

Eligibility: This internship is open to candidates currently enrolled in the SkillBridge Program. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements set forth by the Department of Defense and be transitioning service members.
