Billing Specialist & Accounting Assistant

Independence, OH - 44131
Position Summary
ALL Erection & Crane Rental, located in Independence, is seeking a Billing Clerk and Accounting Assistant with solid general office skills to assist with billing, invoicing, and other accounting functions. This is a full-time, exempt position with comprehensive benefits in a casual office environment.
Essential Functions
  • Oversee billing and invoicing.
  • Maintain up-to-date account billing.
  • Ensure accurate tracking, monitoring and recording of all charges, records and other entries.
  • Perform billing, collections, and other office support activities.
  • Transfer data to general ledger.
  • Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form.
  • Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers and other financial records.
  • Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.
  • Assist in month end reporting procedures
  • Use accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies
  • Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform a wide range of accounting, bookkeeping, clerical, and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience Requirements
  • Experience with NexGen maintenance software preferred.
  • Must have solid general office skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Three (3+) years experience with Accounts Receivable or Billing, highly desired.
  • Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
