To thrive as a Recon Manager, you need strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and experience in inventory control or automotive reconditioning, often supported by a relevant degree or equivalent experience. Familiarity with dealership management systems, inventory tracking software, and reconditioning workflow tools is typically required. Regular training and process reviews can also help address recurring issues and support continuous improvement.
