Job description

Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 85 years. A commitment to teamwork and quality has made us one of the top turkey, hog and egg companies in the U.S. and awarded the company and its team an excellent reputation. Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Part time Dispatch Receptionist to join our team in Fort Recovery.

SHIFT HOURS: 2 days during the week and 2 Fridays per month 3:30pm-10:30pm, and 1 Saturday morning a month 6:00am-approximately 10:00am.

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $15.55 with the potential of increasing to $15.80 after 90 days

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:

  • Answering telephone calls and relaying necessary messages correctly.
  • Accurately inputting feed order tickets for proper load-out, transfer load-out information, and entering invoices into the computer system.
  • Compiling truck data sheets and logs into Excel.
