Job description

The Work

The Junior SAP Receivables Management Consultant will support financial processes across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Funds Management. The role requires experience with SAP Public Sector Financials and an understanding of budget tracking within Funds Management, including configuration of budgets by fund, funds center, and commitment item. The consultant will collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements, design SAP financial solutions, support system processes, and ensure quality delivery across SAP ECC Finance. Strong analytical skills, collaboration, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to gather, analyze, and document requirements for SAP financial processes
  • Design functional solutions to meet business and regulatory needs
  • Work with technical counterparts to ensure technical solutions meet functional specifications
  • Perform business process design and system analysis across financial modules
  • Coordinate and collaborate with architects, developers, technical services (BASIS, Middleware, Portal), and business analysts
  • Support maintenance, enhancement, and development of SAP modules, including integrations with external systems
  • Write, document, and execute test plans including functional and integration testing

Here's What You Need

  • Minimum 2 years of SAP ECC Finance experience
  • Experience with SAP Public Sector Financials
  • Experience configuring SAP Funds Management, including budget creation across fund, funds center, and commitment item
  • Experience with full lifecycle SAP projects

Eligibility Requirements

  • US Citizenship required (no dual citizenship)
  • Must be eligible to obtain a federal government Public Trust clearance
