Revenue Reporting Specialist 

Birmingham, Alabama 

$70,000 - $85,000 + Bonus  

 

Our client is seeking a Revenue Reporting Specialist to support revenue reporting, financial analysis, and data validation efforts within a healthcare-focused environment. This full-time position is primarily remote and is responsible for maintaining reporting accuracy, evaluating revenue-related information, and supporting informed business decisions. 

As the Revenue Reporting Specialist, you will create and maintain reporting solutions, analyze financial trends, and collaborate with accounting, operational, and revenue cycle teams. This position contributes to revenue oversight activities through reporting development, data quality initiatives, and business intelligence support. 
 

What You'll Do: 

  • Compile and review revenue reporting to identify trends, variances, and unusual activity. 

  • Produce recurring and ad hoc reports for accounting, operational, and revenue cycle stakeholders. 

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using business intelligence applications. 

  • Consolidate information from multiple sources to support accurate financial reporting. 

  • Support revenue controls and assist with ongoing monitoring processes. 

  • Improve reporting reliability through data validation and quality assurance procedures. 

  • Generate custom analyses and reporting solutions for leadership requests. 

  • Utilize SQL-based reporting environments and related technology platforms. 
     

What We're Looking For: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. 

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, including reporting and analytical functions. 

  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex information. 

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Experience creating, maintaining, or enhancing reports and dashboards. 

  • Exposure to SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Access, or similar reporting technologies preferred. 

  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
