Job Summary:

The Quoting Manager oversees the full lifecycle of incoming Requests for Quotation (RFQs), ensuring they are efficiently evaluated, assigned, tracked, and delivered with accuracy and speed. This role acts as the central hub for all quoting activity, coordinating between regional customer success teams, engineering, supply chain, and leadership to maintain high responsiveness and strong win rates. The Quoting Manager owns the quoting workflow, performance metrics, and continuous improvement of the quoting process.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of entry for all new and repricing RFQs.
  • Evaluate each RFQ and assign it to the appropriate quoting resource, such as the internal teams in China, Southeast Asia, U.S. Engineering, or other internal departments.
  • Ensure each RFQ has a clear owner and is progressing through the quoting pipeline.
  • Maintain real-time visibility into quote progress, bottlenecks, and deadlines.
  • Track and report key quoting metrics such as turnaround time, win/loss rates, backlog, and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, sales, and regional teams to gather required inputs and resolve blockers.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to speed, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Maintain quoting templates, SOPs, and documentation to ensure standardization across teams.
  • Provide timely updates to sales or account managers regarding quote status and expected delivery.
  • Review quotes for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with company pricing strategy.
  • Adhere to federal and state regulations.
  • Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
  • Predictable and reliable attendance.
Requirements:

Position Qualifications:

  • Education/Learning Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field, or an equivalent degree.
  • Work Experience: Minimum three (3) years of direct experience in quoting, sales operations, supply chain, or manufacturing coordination.
  • Skills/Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of RFQ processes, cost drivers, and quoting workflows.
  • Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems and quoting tools. Epicor/Epicor Kinetic preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across global teams.
  • Experience working with international suppliers and in manufacturing, contract manufacturing, or engineering services.
  • Familiarity with cost modeling, BOM analysis, or technical documentation.
  • Experience building or managing KPI dashboards.
  • Ability to analyze trends and recommend pricing or process improvements.
  • Travel: Ability to travel approximately 10%.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $95k - $115k (Pay to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data)
