General MRO Aerospace is Aviation company in Miami seeking Quoting Specialist to join our fast-paced team immediately. The Quoting Specialist will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring accurate and efficient management of quotations, contracts and customer support within our FAA 145 Repair Station.
We are looking for dedicated and organized Quoting Specialist to join our team. This role is essential by supporting, assisting and providing comprehensive support with various tasks to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will be observant and very attentive to detail. You will need to be an organized self-starter that is diligent and responsive, take initiative, work well independently, maintain a positive attitude and strive to maintain the company's culture. Excellent communication, computer and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to work alongside with other members throughout other departments. Essential Duties:
  • Communication: Engage in the role of quoting specialist for repair or overhaul quotes. Prepare and ensure all necessary details are gathered to provide an accurate estimate for customers.
  • Evaluating Parts and Repair Needs: Review the condition of aircraft parts, including inspecting or gathering technical reports, and determine the necessary repairs, replacements, or overhauls.
  • Cost Analysis: Calculate labor, materials, equipment, and any additional costs required to perform the repair or overhaul. Factor in shipping, testing, and compliance costs as well.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to determine cost estimates and pricing strategies.
  • Technical Research: Use manufacturer's manuals, technical data, and regulations to identify the processes and materials required for repairs.
  • Oversee the entire quote lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and maintenance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure quotes comply with aviation regulatory standards (FAA, EASA, etc.), industry best practices, industry standards and company policies, as well as staying updated on changes in compliance
  • Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Work with vendors and suppliers to obtain parts and services needed for repairs and incorporate these into the quote.
  • Organize and manage documentation related to customer contracts, quotations, and vendor communications.
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate records of quotes, repair processes, and cost breakdowns in a database.

  • Ability to work independently on assigned duties
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and vendors
  • Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel

Qualification:
