JOB TITLE: Logistics Management Analyst - DEFENSE 
LOCATION: Tampa, FL
PAY RATE: $33-35/hour

Summary: 

  • Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including procurement, transportation, distribution, and delivery

  • Ensure on-time delivery performance and high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Monitor and optimize cost, efficiency, and service levels within budget constraints

  • Execute and continuously improve standard logistics processes, including:

    • Replenishment and inventory control systems

    • Demand planning and forecasting

    • Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and logistics information systems

    • Data management and reporting systems

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers and stakeholders through logistics initiatives

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, customer service, and transportation teams

  • Analyze logistics data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement

  • Benchmark against competitors and industry best practices to enhance operational performance

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards across logistics operations

  • Support implementation of new systems, tools, and technologies to improve logistics efficiency

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management

  • Strong knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, and distribution systems

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle ERP) and data management tools

  • Experience with EDI systems and demand planning tools

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

  • Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in government, defense, or aerospace environments

  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or APICS (e.g., CPIM/CSCP)

  • Experience with logistics automation, digital transformation, or advanced analytics

  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS)
