Job description

The Regional Parts Inside Sales Specialist will primarily be responsible for driving profitable parts-sales growth by expanding customer relationships and selling parts to customers in the state of Florida. This person will be based at our Jacksonville or Apopka, Florida branch. The work blends cold calling prospective customers, developing existing and inactive accounts, and responsive parts transactions. Some days will require switching quickly between prospecting, overflow parts calls from Florida branches, research, quoting, follow-up, and backorder updates. This person is expected to maintain an accurate backorder report and pursue supplier updates, communicate status before customers have to ask, and track each open item through resolution. The role supports and works closely with all 4 Florida branch managers and occasionally provides backup coverage limited to their parts responsibilities. Technical accuracy matters, but so does urgency, clarity, follow-through, and trust. The goal is to become a reliable parts resource customers call first.

Qualifications:
  • Customerfacing parts experience, including parts identification, accurate quoting, and order processing, is required.
  • Experience with industrial equipment, municipal customers, or similar industries is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with a datadriven approach to decisionmaking.
  • Ability to research parts using catalogs and diagrams, with working proficiency in orderentry systems and Excel.
  • Ability and willingness to cold call, follow up consistently, and manage competing requests through resolution; outbound sales experience preferred.
