We're looking for an organized and dependable Branch VMI Specialist to help support our VMI operations in Las Vegas.

Job Summary

The Branch VMI Specialist helps keep our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program running smoothly.

This position supports VMI routes, drivers, customer inventory programs, vending solutions, and branch operations. You'll help prepare routes, troubleshoot inventory issues, maintain vending and Point-of-Use (POU) programs, train team members, and step in as a backup VMI driver when needed.

We're looking for someone who is organized, hands-on, dependable, and good at solving problems.

What You'll DoVMI Routes & Drivers
  • Prepare and stage VMI routes so drivers can leave on time with everything they need.
  • Review routes and help improve efficiency.
  • Serve as a backup VMI driver when needed.
  • Help ensure required vehicle and DOT inspections are completed.
  • Track proof-of-delivery documentation and make sure VMI procedures are followed.
  • Help maintain consistent customer route schedules.
Vending & Point-of-Use Programs
  • Help set up vending machines, bins, and other Point-of-Use inventory solutions.
  • Keep customer inventory areas organized, clean, and properly labeled.
  • Evaluate VMI setups and make improvements when needed.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on vending machines.
  • Help troubleshoot vending and inventory issues.
  • Monitor stockouts and backorders and help coordinate solutions.
Customers, Sales & Inventory
  • Communicate with customers regarding VMI needs and service issues.
  • Work closely with inside and outside sales teams.
  • Help identify additional product or sales opportunities at customer locations.
  • Coordinate with the Branch Lead to maintain appropriate branch inventory levels.
  • Help ensure customer orders and VMI inventory are processed accurately.
Training & Branch Support
  • Help onboard and train new VMI team members.
  • Teach employees VMI processes, procedures, equipment, and customer expectations.
  • Make sure team members have the tools and information needed to do their jobs.
  • Provide warehouse support when needed.
  • Assist with order processing and vend-pack preparation.
  • Help maintain an organized and effective vend-pack process.
  • Support other branch projects and responsibilities as needed.
