Job description

Summary:
Supply Technician in support of Lower Tier Project Office (LTPO) located at Fort Bliss. Primary weapon system is Patriot.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Must be capable of performing limited aspects of technical supply management work to include operations on Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) but preferred Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) experience using Standard Army Management Information System (STAMIS) for hand receipt creation, documentation and inventory measures.
  • Daily tracking of equipment for unserviceable turn in, new equipment addition and upgrade of hand receipt in accordance with requirements.
  • Daily administrative functions to include the use of Microsoft Office, including XP and Vista operating systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Knowledge and use of STAMIS systems to include PBUSE and GCSS-A (Preferred).
  • Warehousing functions such as store, issue and receive; processing CL IX spare parts for issue/turn-in
  • Property accountability and inventory applicable to warehousing
  • Operation on standard warehouse equipment: forklift, pallet jack, banding equipment, packing & crating support

Minimum Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma but college degree (Associates or Bachelors) preferred
  • 2 years' experience working in a warehouse
  • Graduate of a professional development Warehousing Course, preferred US Army 92A Advanced Individual Training (AIT) or above.
