What is a VMI job?

A VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) job involves managing inventory levels for a client by monitoring stock and replenishing supplies as needed. What is a VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) specialist?

VMI, or Vendor Managed Inventory, roles involve overseeing and managing a customer's inventory levels on behalf of a supplier or vendor. Professionals in these positions monitor stock, forecast demand, place replenishment orders, and ensure optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations. VMI roles require strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with both suppliers and clients.
