Position Summary

The primary function of the Quote Specialist is to provide pricing solutions to GMS customers based on preset pricing levels which are conveyed to the customers through our quote system. The quote specialist is responsible for tracking projects through our tracking system with the assistance of job source generation companies and our sales team.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records regarding projects and our win loss ratio. Produce customer quotes quickly and accurately. Track projects and keep the project information current. Work with outside sales and become a liaison to coordinate sales and special job pricing.
  • Communicate and help implement pricing changes as needed.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to stay organized and complete quotes paying attention to detail and self-checking projects. Core Competencies: Strive to do the right thing by displaying trust and integrity. Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position in an office environment 70% of the time. Will occasionally move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, etc.
  • Must be able to operate basic office machinery.
  • Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Must be able to travel when necessary for face to face customer interaction.

  • Must be able to manage stress depending on tasks.

  • Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur.
