Position Opening: Deposit Processing Specialist
Department: Deposit Operations
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Salary: FT Hourly
Responsibilities and Expectations
  1. Operations
  • Process daily proof work to include Remote Deposit Capture
  • Assist bank staff and customers with deposit-related questions and issues
  • Process chargeback and return files
  • Process incoming and outgoing cash letters
  • Process all exceptions and clear daily edit
  • Process Lockbox payments
  • Process Foreign check items
  • Print and process all chargeback and return notices
  • Back up other Deposit Operations duties as requested.

  1. Bank Compliance, Regulations and Internal Controls
  • Follow established Deposit Operations policies and procedures
  • Follow established internal control policies
  • Follow established compliance polices, responsibilities including but not limited to Equity Bank Business Ethic and Conduct policy, Bank Secrecy Act, Information Security, and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements.

  1. Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Required Skills & Education
  • High School diploma
  • 1-3 Years banking experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional manner
  • Computer skills, especially the ability to work in Windows based systems
