Job Summary

The Quote Analyst is a key role within Southwire's data management process. This position is responsible for maintaining information that drives the company's Product Costing, Manufacturing Execution, and Sales Quoting. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams across the enterprise including Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Specifications and other various support functions. The main focus of the position is ensuring accurate information in Southwire's systems that is consistent with the operations of the business. The role also contributes to continuous improvement efforts and data integrity projects that drive operational efficiency and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain Product Costing and Production data within Southwire's specification and ERP systems.
  • Ensure information related to BOMs and Routes is consistent with current manufacturing processes.
  • Utilize product information and systems to create product cost quotes for Sales.
  • Facilitate business decisions by providing cost verifications and comparisons.
  • Perform data audits and facilitate change management processes.
  • Collaborate with functional teams responsible for system changes and enhancements. Teams consist of but are not limited to: Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, Product Management, Industrial Engineers and Specifications.
  • Gain proficiency with enterprise applications to execute primary job duties. Systems include but are not limited to: SAP, CableBuilder, and ServiceNow.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards
