Job Summary:
The Purchasing/Receiving Stockroom Manager will lead our extensive and diverse parts inventory department. This dynamic, fast-paced environment requires strong leadership skills to develop and implement systems focused on efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement. The role involves purchasing, receiving, processing, and distributing parts to employees, customers, and vendors. Responsibilities include strategic planning, implementing organizational initiatives related to stores and stockrooms, and overseeing staff training, development, and work products. A thorough understanding of all regulatory requirements is essential.

Essential Functions:
1. Monitor and order inventory as needed to maintain appropriate levels of parts and consumable products. Ensure repair/overhaul items are being sent out for repair as needed.
2. Leadership of annual inventory count.
3. Supervise, direct, hire, train, discipline, coach and assist in the review of all Parts Department employees.
4. Daily tracking and Time clock management to include schedules, time approval, and time corrections.
5. Track and Maintain controls on high-cost inventory items.
6. Coordinate with the engine department for status and records.
7. Maintain parts availability with the Maintenance department.
8. Monitor tool calibration program and ensure mechanic accountability regarding inventory, and mechanic sign in/out log.
9. Update and maintain individual part information.
10. Establish a safe and efficient work environment.
11. Ensure proper record keeping procedures are being followed.
12. Maintain, or exceed service standards.
13. Maximize department profit while maintaining safety and service standards.
14. Implement company policy/directives.
15. Maintain communication and cooperation with all Everts management, personnel, stations and vendors.
16. Develop achievable goals and objectives aligned with company growth.
17. Respond to corporate staff timely and competently.
18. Perform routine tasks in the absence of personnel.
Additional Responsibilities:

1. Comply with all safety aspects, specific practices and procedures of the work scope and position(s).
2. Be familiar with the Company's Safety Management System (SMS) and Occupational Safety Manual (OSM).
3. Contribute to the Safety Culture of the Company and report any Safety Hazards.
4. Required to learn and understand Dangerous Goods Transportation requirements.
5. Keep your work areas clean and free of hazards; correct unsafe conditions when encountered and report those that you are unable to personally correct to a supervisor.

Qualifications:
1. 3+ years' experience in stockroom/stores purchasing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control and facilitation.
2. Requires 1-3 years prior supervisory experience preferred, indicating prior advancement during this period.
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
4. Demonstrated problem solving expertise. Ability to motivate and develop employees.
5. Requires the ability to understand, retain, and deliver information verbally and written
6. Requires the ability to coordinate with and work for a variety of Management personnel and must be self-motivated, organized, and comfortable with frequent change.
7. Requires good organizational, attention to detail, and record keeping skills and the ability to maintain current and updated information. Requires the ability to input and retrieve information from a database.
8. High school diploma, or equivalency certificate, or proof of sufficient reading, mathematics, and computer skills to fulfill essential functions.
9. Superior computer skills and experience with computerized inventory systems.
