We are a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP); building automation; and industrial piping contractor. Our team offers a variety of MEP and process piping services, including design-build engineering for new construction and renovation, installation and specialty construction, maintenance, and air balancing, start-up, and energy efficiency services.
Job Summary
DeBra-Kuempel is seeking a Purchasing Data Entry Specialist for our Cincinnati, Ohio location. This role supports a dynamic team of seven in a fast-paced environment, handling high-volume data entry and vendor communications. The specialist will be responsible for collecting all necessary information to issue purchase orders for Field Technicians, Service Managers, Account Managers, and Project Managers across all offices, ensuring timely and accurate entry into our procurement systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Accurately enter large volumes of alphanumeric data, including purchase orders, subcontracts, and change order requests, into Edge, a web-based procurement system
  • Collect and input necessary information for new vendor and subcontractor setup
  • Conduct invoice research, follow up with vendors, and ensure timely entry
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal staff at all organizational levels, including management
  • Contact vendors to collect outstanding invoices
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two (2) or more years of data entry experience
  • Proven ability to manage high volumes of invoices and purchase order requests efficiently and accurately
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, OneNote, Excel)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat is a plus
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
  • Valid driver's licenserequired
