Overview:

Capitol Broadcasting Company is seeking a high-impact sales leader to drive revenue growth across our audio and digital portfolios, including WRAL.com and a full suite of audience-targeting solutions (display, video, CTV/OTT, email, and more).

This role sits directly under the Director of Sales and is responsible for accelerating audio and digital revenue, elevating sales strategy, and serving as the in-house expert on digital products, platforms, and campaign execution.

What You will Do

Revenue Growth & Strategy

  • Lead digital revenue strategy across on-site and off-site channels.
  • Partner with leadership to consistently exceed revenue goals.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities,packaging strategies,and go-to-market opportunities.
  • Drive adoption of digital solutions.

Sales Leadership & Client Engagement

  • Join key client meetings as a digitalexpert.
  • Help develop proposals, RFP responses, and integrated campaign strategies.
  • Coach account executives.
  • Translate digital solutions clearly.
  • Foster a high-performance, accountable, and competitive sales culture.
  • Drive new business development and expand key client relationships.
  • Help oversee forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management to ensure predictable revenue growth.

Product & Platform Expertise

  • Serve as internal expert on digital products such as display, video, CTV/OTT, email,SEO, SEM, search, social media management,Google Ad Manager (GAM)and more.
  • Understand campaign metrics and recommend campaign strategies.

  • Stay current on industry trends.
  • Work with ad ops for campaign success.

Integrated Media Leadership

  • Position digital in integrated campaigns.

  • Work to improve client growth and retention.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational operations and goals.
