About the Role

The Publisher Solution Sales Specialist is responsible for driving growth among our publisher clients. In this role, you will combine deep product expertise with consultative sales strategies to identify opportunities, guide clients toward strategic digital solutions, and close business within both new and existing accounts.

This is a highly collaborative role working closely with Account Directors, Customer Teams, and Product stakeholders to ensure our solutions meet client objectives and deliver strong outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue goals for assigned product categories through a consultative, solutionsoriented sales approach.
  • Engage publishers and client stakeholders at all levels to understand needs, communicate value, and build longterm partnerships.
  • Collaborate with Account Directors to establish account planning strategy as it relates to assigned product area.
  • Create and present client proposals that result in winning sales.
  • Maintain deep product expertise and translate capabilities into actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with Account Directors, Customer Teams, and crossfunctional stakeholders to advance opportunities, develop solutions, and support delivery.
  • Recruit and onboard new members into the Healthcare Communications Network (HCN) to expand publisher partnerships.
  • Monitor solution performance, customer satisfaction, and implementation success.
  • Identify crosssell ("starburst") opportunities and share market insights to inform product, marketing, and commercial strategy.
  • As part of the sales process, gather market and client intelligence and provide strategic feedback to Marketing, Strategy and Product stakeholders strengthen offerings and capture additional business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • At least 8 years of relevant sales or account management experience required
  • Possesses knowledge of key marketplace issues for the pharmaceutical industry and related businesses.
  • Familiar with one or more IQVIA offerings along with subject matter expertise relating to client business processes that are improved by the IQVIA solution.
  • Proven track record of success as a salesperson, have excellent presentation and writing skills, act with a sense of urgency, and be able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Must have successful experience identifying and closing new business opportunities and developing positive relationships at all levels of client management and within internal teams.
  • Must be revenue driven, a problem solver and an effective negotiator.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $89,900.00 - $250,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
