Role Summary:

The Senior Publisher Operations Manager drives the technical production workflows and operations behind EFG's live events and productions, and is a key stakeholder in delivering client satisfaction. The role partners with the partnership, production, and project management teams to build budgets for inbound RFPs, co-author execution plans for inbound business, and work with internal teams and vendors to ensure everything is delivered to our standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the main point of contact between the games partnerships team and the production and broadcast teams, overseeing the lead delivery of live events and productions across North America and globally as required.
  • Act as a liaison between EFG and client stakeholders; Drive deliverables, identify risks, monitor potential scope creep, and work with internal teams to be proactive, discover, and convey relevant updates.
  • Partner with Account Managers, Project Managers, Finance, Production, and relevant subject-matter-experts, to develop budgets and shape active pitches for ongoing and new business, ensuring decisions balance product and client priorities with financial targets.
  • Lead production scoping meetings for creative producers, project managers, and the production department in advance of new projects.
  • Direct, manage and contribute to the production technical design process, with a balanced focus on attendee experience and live broadcast consumption. Including hands-on live event design and production technical design, primarily in Vectorworks.
  • Support the team with suggestions for the execution of productions, on the levels of both cost efficiency as well as feasibility.
  • Maintain production standards, processes, and documentation; direct budgets and live production expenditures; and ensure timely communication and information flow across the team.
  • Partner with Event IT staff to ensure reliable and robust workflows.
  • Source and manage third-party vendors, scenic and production partners to ensure successful and on-budget execution of productions; lead RFP processes in line with company procurement standards.
  • Understand and manage the P2P process for production expenditures. Support financial workflows from PO generation to invoice reconciliation.
  • Partner with the Production and Project Management teams to create and manage project roadmaps, work back schedules, and task and milestone reports.
  • Provide consistent project updates to various stakeholders on project delivery, strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Contribute to the development of production processes and procedures, including production lifecycle, staffing, production reporting and logs, and the creative sharing of ideas and approaches to production across stakeholders.


Requirements

  • Over 5 years of experience leading in-studio and live event productions across a wide range of formats and scales.
  • Proven track record of managing projects and initiatives end-to-end, from planning through execution and delivery.
  • Extensive experience creating, managing, and reconciling large-scale budgets with accuracy and accountability.
