  • Maintain compliance with formatting, page limits, and submission requirements.
  • Interview engineers, program managers, and SMEs to gather technical inputs.
  • Convert technical inputs into persuasive proposal narratives emphasizing performance, innovation, and mission relevance.

  • Contribute to storyboard development and proposal outlines.
  • Perform technical editing, copy editing, and formatting across proposal volumes.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, terminology, and messaging.
  • Participate in color team reviews (Pink, Red, Gold, and White reviews).
  • Maintain proposal libraries, reusable content, and past performance narratives.
  • Track deadlines and coordinate inputs across internal teams.
  • Support proposal production and final submission.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–7+ years of experience writing U.S. federal government proposals in aerospace, defense, or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS proposal requirements and federal acquisition processes.

  • Ability to translate complex aerospace engineering concepts into clear written narratives.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and document organization skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting UAS/UAV, defense aviation, space systems, or advanced aerospace programs.
  • Familiarity with Shipley proposal processes or similar proposal methodologies.
  • Experience writing technical volumes, management volumes, and past performance sections.

  • Active or previously held U.S. security clearance.

Physical Requirements:
