Summary
Arcadis is looking to add a Proposal Manager to join the team. As a key member of the team, the Proposal Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of creating and submitting proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) or other business opportunities. They function as a project leader, coordinating efforts across various departments to develop and deliver a winning proposal. The Proposal Manager will provide leadership and support on a variety of business development assignments, focusing on proposals but also multi-tasking to include the development of qualification packages, presentations, resumes, and project profiles. This role within Arcadis provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to help drive a rapidly growing business. The ideal candidate should have experience in the AEC industry, be an initiative-taking, self-starter who embraces creativity in marketing and sales and demonstrates the ability to translate that creativity into useful proposals.
This role can be in one of our three offices: Cary, NC, Conshohocken, PA or Framingham, MA.
Key Responsibilities
  • Proposal Planning and Development : Develops the overall proposal strategy, plan, and timeline. able to effectively coordinate various levels of SMEs effectively to deliver complicated responses on time.
  • Coordination and Communication : Coordinates with various departments (e.g., sales, marketing, operations) to gather information, ensure alignment, and manage the flow of communication.
  • Content Development and Review : Ensures that the proposal content is accurate, compelling, and meets all RFP requirements.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance : Verifies that the proposal complies with all applicable regulations and standards, and that it meets the required quality standards.
  • Proposal Delivery and Submission : Oversees the final production, review, and submission of the proposal.
  • Post-Proposal Activities : May be involved in debriefing sessions, lessons learned, and follow-up with clients.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or equivalent and 5+ years related experience.
  • Life sciences market knowledge is a plus. Familiarity with one or all our business units: Architectural, Engineering, Construction Management and Commissioning, Qualification and Validation.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure.
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Deltek, Oracle (or similar CRM)
  • Initiative-taking and self-managed, with an ownership mentality.
  • Able to effectively prioritize among multiple, competing, high priority responses.
  • Content marketing and social media are a plus.
  • Other duties as assigned.
