Job description

One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Project Planning & Migration Scheduler to work on a 12-months assignment in their facilities in Spring, TX.
The Project Planning & Migration Scheduler role is for an internally resourced project for migrating work globally.
Successful candidates should be able to credibly demonstrate experience and advanced skills in planning and scheduling management as well as stakeholder engagement and solutioning, assuring they can help identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues with global stakeholders and management.
Responsabilites
  • Create resource loaded schedule in scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera),
  • Identify deviations to planning basis and forecast impacts to schedule;
  • Support management with insights into project schedule issues and potential solutions.
  • Support an internal project with project planning and scheduling support.
  • Project is internal to the company's and is tracking work migration between different locations (global facilities into India).
Requirements:
  • Oil and Gas planning and scheduling experience is not required for this role
  • Experience in internal, human resource task/work migration planning and scheduling to support the project.
  • Strong ability to simplify complex schedule data into digestible management summary
  • Strong communication and influencing ability across a broad audience
  • 10 + years of experience with planning/scheduling
  • Ability to work with remote teams
  • Strong Primavera P6 experience
  • Strong Microsoft Project experience
  • Forecasting expertise
  • Planning & Scheduling controls background
  • Ability to identify schedule execution issues and make corrections
  • Independent worker with minimal supervision
