Job description

Manufacturing Project Manager (Contract – 6 to 18 Months)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex manufacturing initiatives across multiple U.S. operations. This role will manage cross-functional projects involving manufacturing operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, and plant leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

The ideal candidate is a certified PMP with a strong background managing large-scale manufacturing projects in fast-paced industrial environments. This individual must be highly organized, execution-oriented, and comfortable driving alignment across multiple stakeholders and locations.

This is a contract engagement expected to last approximately 6–18 months, with flexibility on work location within the United States. Key operational sites include NJ; SC; MI; and KY.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead complex manufacturing and operational projects from initiation through execution and closeout

· Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies

· Coordinate cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, procurement, and plant leadership

· Drive project governance, status reporting, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication

· Ensure alignment between business objectives, operational priorities, and project execution

· Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation plans

· Track project performance metrics and communicate progress to executive leadership and site stakeholders

· Facilitate meetings, project reviews, and decision-making processes across multiple facilities

· Support change management and operational readiness activities associated with manufacturing initiatives
