Job Title: Entry-Level Manufacturing Project Engineer
Location: North Berwick, ME 03906
Pay Rate: $28.00-34.00/hour, direct, full-time position with benefits
Area Code: 207
This is a direct, full-time position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need an AS or BS degree in a STEM related field with zero to three years of manufacturing related experience. Great matching candidates will have willingness to work in a fast paced manufacturing setting and will thrive in a collaborative environment.
Manufacturing Project Engineer job duties:
* Prepare Engineering Packages for disposition of nonconforming hardware/parts. This includes, taking pictures, measuring defects and compiling the information in PowerPoint presentation
* Create and interrogate NX Models.
* Evaluate engine run hardware and recommend disposition (reuse, repair, replace).
* Develop component repair packages.
* Create requisitions for development hardware; perform delivery assurance
* Process and/or prepare documentation for Engineering Changes.
* Participate in design/manufacturing reviews and complete assigned action items.
Qualifications:
* AS or BS Degree in a STEM related field
* Zero to three years of manufacturing engineering experience or classwork
* Ability to understand/interpret engineering drawings; GD&T knowledge
* Must work well under pressure and flourish in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
* Strong project management and communication skills are required
* Skills with NX & Teamcenter a plus; prior aerospace experience a plus
* Legal authorization to work in the US is required: Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship is required
