Job description

We are looking to add a passionate project manager to join the operations team. You will work closely with our management team, as well as all the department heads to help coordinate diverse projects and build new business processes per our needs. They are typically given a broad business-oriented problem statement, then expected to develop and execute a project plan. This role combines the elements of project management, problem-solving, value creation, and facilitating team integration. The ideal candidate would have previous e-commerce/CPG business operations experience and can demonstrate abilities to bring teams together within a matrixed environment and drive successful results.


Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $60,000 - $85,000

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10 am - 6 pm

Location: Tempe, AZ or California

Responsibilities:

  • Become the SME of relevant product knowledge, branding guidelines & current company processes

  • Planning and managing projects directly related to corporate and department objectives

  • Be able to synthesize complex processes and abstract ideas into clear and executable project components, stages and tasks

  • Optimize existing or build new business processes for all departments

  • Take ownership of projects and initiatives, carefully managing business requirements, timing, risks, issues, decisions, interdependencies, and milestones

  • Influencing or setting business unit or cross-organizational strategies

  • Effectively communicate project updates, status, needs, and issues to proper stakeholders

  • Provide business processes training to our global employees (e.g. US, China, Philippines, etc.)

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve business processes after execution

  • Hire & supervise Philippine Team to fulfill operational tasks requested by each department

  • Set KPI, conduct performance reviews and assist with payroll for the PH team

  • Other admin tasks/projects assigned by management


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, project management, business administration, or any related field

  • Must be fluent in both English and Mandarin (both writing and speaking)

  • Experience in the E-commerce industry is preferred

  • Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Shopify & WooCommerce is a PLUS

  • Be excellent at interpersonal communication and people/project management

  • Strong prioritization and organization skills, detail-oriented

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment! Able to solve problems quickly, handle pressure and tight deadlines

  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes

  • Expert in Google Suite (i.e., Docs, Spreadsheet)

  • Familiar with Monday.com, Trello, or other related project management tools
