Functional area: Project Management

Remuneration: Exempt

The Project Execution Manager leads the execution of renewable energy projects including construction safety, quality, schedule, contractor(s) scope and budget.

Role Responsibilities
  • Assure the timely execution of the project within the established schedule and budgetary constraints and in compliance with safety, reliability, technical quality and regulatory requirements
  • Proactively manage the execution of project contracts including review and approval of change orders and invoices
  • Coordinate project expectations, workflows and communications across multiple departments and stakeholders, internal or external, to RWEA to ensure overall compliance with the project objectives, contracts, budgets and schedules
  • Perform quality analysis/quality control of key deliverables related to projects and tasks managed, as well as projects and tasks managed by others
  • Identify, report and manage project risks including collaboration with the appropriate project stakeholders to develop mitigation plans
  • Select individuals on the project site team and provide them with appropriate direction and focus to accomplish project goals and objectives
  • Maintain appropriate communication with senior management and all project groups and functions within and outside the company. Prepare and distribute progress status reports, as required
  • Ensure the highest level of environmental health and safety on assigned renewable energy project(s)
Job Requirements and Experiences
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction related field from an accredited university
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience; 5 years of progressive project management experience
  • Experience in the power generation field is preferred. Oil and Gas experience will be considered
  • Construction field experience is preferred
  • Able to travel 25% to 50% of the time
  • Has a valid US driverโ€™s license
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage customer relationships
  • Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
  • Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
  • Ability to multiโ€‘task while working independently and as part of a team
  • Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate and lead people from a diverse set of backgrounds
  • Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable
  • Detailโ€‘oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts
  • This position is an officeโ€‘based role with some travel and visits to other RWEA offices and field locations
  • Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in New York is $138,000- $207,000. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S. locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidateโ€™s education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
