Job Description:

HOW A PROJECT EXECUTION MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Primary point of contact and point of escalation for funded projects.

  • Responsible for scope, schedule and budget management of Customer based Project Portfolios.

  • Oversees all work and takes corrective action as necessary to ensure success of assigned tasks for Customer based Project Portfolios.

  • Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned Customer based Project Portfolios, including contract and subcontractor management.

  • Supervises assigned Customer based Project Portfolios staff.

  • Supports Portfolio staff to develop technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.

  • Reviews future project requirements and develops strategies for future work.

  • May also perform high-level technical services on assigned tasks.

  • Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.

  • Attends customer meetings and serves as primary client liaison for project execution.

  • Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.

  • Coordinates development of deliverables and products.

  • Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.

  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned

  • Participates in special projects as required.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED - REQUIRED:

  • Security Clearance: Active Secret security clearance, with TS/SCI preferred.

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

  • Year's Experience: 5+ years of related experience, including supervisory experience.

  • Technical Skills: MS Office and MS Project experience. Requires ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.

  • Location: Arlington, VA

  • Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP)

The likely salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
