Job description

The Supply Chain Delivery Execution Manager, which is an individual contributor role, will be a key member of the upstream supply chain team, managing the connection points between our vendors, our warehouse network, and our project sites across the country. This role will lead the coordination and management of equipment delivery for projects. Collaborating closely with suppliers, internal teams, and on-site personnel, this role is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery, accurate tracking, and resolution of any logistical issues related to equipment procurement. This role is critical in ensuring project success by effectively managing the logistics of equipment delivery and allocation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Other duties may be assigned.

  • Evaluate incoming shipments to determine equipment routing - direct to project sites or routed to storage facilities.

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment, managing ship dates to effectively to meet project deadlines.

  • Ensure accurate tracking of shipments by vendors, including updating serial numbers and other relevant information in the tracking system.

  • Track shipments and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders, proactively addressing any issues or discrepancies.

  • Resolve any issues or delays in the delivery process, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to find solutions.

  • Support the management, revisions, and distribution of the shipping guidance process, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of shipping procedures and requirements.

  • Coordinate with the onsite teams to understand their equipment needs by specified dates and validate them against current ship dates.

  • Identify risks and potential delays in equipment delivery and communicate them to senior leadership for evaluation.

  • Assist senior leadership in evaluating and adjusting equipment allocations at a program level, based on identified risks and priorities.

  • Coordinate business process documentation and improvement strategies with internal stakeholders, process owners, and subject matter experts.

  • Establish business metrics and reports to monitor and improve equipment delivery.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, related field, or professional equivalency.

  • Five or more years' experience in supply chain management with a focus on allocations.

  • Previous experience in project management, logistics, or supply chain management, with a focus on managing inbound operations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, and Smartsheet program for data management and reporting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience or familiarity with data center design and construction.
