Role Overview
The HRSG Contract Execution Manager is responsible for supporting the contractual sourcing execution of HRSG supplier contracts. This role ensures that the Company maintains maximum rights and remedies for supplier contracts. The manager works with internal stakeholders to negotiate, finalize, and administer supplier agreements, track and manage contractual milestones, and reduce commercial risk. The position requires extensive expertise in HRSG supplier contracts, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to provide recommendations on contractual terms, conditions, and guarantees.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support and manage the execution of supplier contractual purchase orders.
  • Negotiate and finalize supplier contracts to maximize benefit for Mitsubishi Power.
  • Collaborate with commercial, engineering, and projects teams to ensure back-to-back supplier contracts with prime contract guarantees and requirements.
  • Negotiate and issue change orders and modifications with appropriate reviews and approvals.
  • Track and manage supplier contractual milestones (engineering specification schedule, procurement, manufacturing, delivery, and invoice schedules).
  • Maintain strong understanding of HRSG supplier contracts including scope, terms and conditions, guarantees, and flow-down requirements.
  • Consult on negotiations with suppliers to reduce risk to Mitsubishi Power.
  • Coordinate solicitation documents, statements of work, schedules, work orders, and contract requirements in collaboration with project managers.
  • Review and ensure supplier compliance with Mitsubishi Power procurement procedures, terms, and conditions.
  • Develop and implement procurement procedures for new or existing contracting programs.
  • Provide recommendations on contract terms and conditions, flow-down terms, and guarantees.
  • Advise senior management on commercial issues affecting supplier contract activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable federal and state contracting regulations.
  • Perform contract administration and close-out functions, including warranties, manuals, and as-built documentation.
  • Participate in dispute resolution and claims settlement processes.
  • Travel up to 30% may be required.

Requirements
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of supplier contracts experience in the power generation industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HRSG supplier contracts and procurement practices.
