Job description

Position Overview:

InnoActive Group are leaders in providing project management and technology advisory primarily in public agencies and Fortune 500 entities. InnoActive Group has managed various construction and technology projects ranging in size from small projects to multi-billion-dollar capital programs.


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Controls Analyst to work in a Hybrid Role to support our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, monitoring, and controlling of projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement project controls systems, including cost estimating, financial reporting, scheduling, and risk management.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Scheduling:

  • Be in charge of development and maintenance of detailed project schedules.
  • Ensure schedules are integrated with other project plans and adjust as needed to reflect changes in scope or timelines.
  • Monitor and track project milestones and deadlines to ensure project stays on schedule.


Cost Management:

  • Track project budgets, costs, and expenditures, and identify any deviations from the approved budget.
  • Work with project managers to forecast cost trends and potential overages.
  • Prepare and update regular cost reports, including earned value analysis, cost variance, and financial forecasts.


Risk Management:

  • Assist in identifying potential risks to project timelines, costs, and scope.
  • Support the development of risk mitigation plans and track risks throughout the project lifecycle.


Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret project data to identify trends and performance metrics.
  • Prepare comprehensive project performance reports for management, including progress, budget adherence, and risk status.
  • Provide recommendations to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.


Change Control and Documentation:

  • Track and manage changes to the scope, schedule, and budget of the project.
  • Ensure all changes are documented and approved according to project governance processes.


Collaboration & Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of project objectives.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers, senior management, and stakeholders regarding project performance, issues, and updates.
  • Support in the preparation of presentations for project reviews and meetings.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in project controls, project management, or a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Experience using project management software Primavera P6 for scheduling, planning, and managing large, complex projects is a must.
  • Strong proficiency in cost management tools such as Excel, SAP, or similar is required.
