Job Title: Senior Project Controls Analyst Job Id:26-04355 Location: Fresno,CA Duration: 12  Months on W2 contract
 
Job Description:
 
We are seeking a Senior Project Controls Analyst / Program Controller to support financial management, resource planning, vendor oversight, and reporting for a large-scale enterprise transformation program. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, program controls experience, and excellent cross-functional communication skills.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Manage program financials, including forecasting, actuals, accruals, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain staffing and resource plans aligned with program demand and budgets.
  • Perform SAP PRJ financial updates and ensure cost accuracy and compliance.
  • Review time charging and support capitalization and expense governance.
  • Manage vendor staffing, rates, invoices, and issue resolution.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel.
  • Support PMO governance, compliance, and program reporting.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, PMO, Business teams, and vendors.
  • Prepare executive summaries and ad-hoc financial analysis.
 
Required Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in program financial management, PMO, or project controls.
  • Experience with forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP PRJ, WBS, or similar financial modules.
  • Vendor management and invoice validation experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • Experience supporting large IT or transformation programs.
  • Experience with financial controls, capitalization, and audit processes.
  • Utility or regulated industry experience.
  • Power BI, data modeling, and dashboard development experience.
 
Compensation: 
 
The hourly rate for this position is  $93.00 per hour.
