 ASSISTANT PROJECT SCHEDULER
LOCATION: Detroit, MI
Our Client is seeking an Assistant Scheduler to join their low voltage construction team in the Detroit, Michigan area. This role is designed as an entry-level career opportunity for an ambitious individual interested in learning scheduling, project coordination, and construction operations within the telecommunications and IT construction industry.
The Assistant Scheduler will work directly under the supervision and mentorship of senior leadership to learn the scheduling process for low voltage construction projects. This position offers hands-on exposure to commercial construction scheduling, project planning, coordination, reporting, and field operations.
This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a future Project Scheduler, Project Manager, or Operations leadership position within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with creating and maintaining project schedules for low voltage and telecommunications construction projects
  • Support senior schedulers and project teams with project tracking, updates, and reporting
  • Learn scheduling software and scheduling best practices for commercial construction projects
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and field teams regarding timelines and project milestones
