Position Overview: ANSER is seeking a Project Execution Analyst to support the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) program within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Industrial Base Policy (IBP). In this role you will support a high-performing team focused on analyzing and strengthening the global defense industrial base through project execution, acquisition support, industrial base assessments, and stakeholder engagement activities.

You will provide analytical and programmatic support to initiatives that enhance the Department of War's ability to address industrial base risks and advance the National Security Innovation Base. Day to Day Responsibilities: * Analyze project proposals and provide data-driven recommendations to support leadership decision-making and implementation planning * Assess project feasibility, technical capabilities, funding pathways, and execution strategies for industrial base initiatives * Monitor project schedules, milestones, and performer progress to ensure successful execution of approved efforts * Coordinate and de-conflict activities with mission partners, government stakeholders, and external organizations * Draft briefings, analytical products, official correspondence, and acquisition-related documentation in response to internal and external taskings * Conduct research and analysis on strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities impacting the global defense industrial base * Support development and evaluation of prototyping and acquisition efforts aligned with IBAS program objectives * Represent government interests during virtual and in-person meetings with industry, government, and academic stakeholders * Document meeting minutes, action items, and follow-up requirements to support cross-functional collaboration * Conduct outreach activities, site visits, and strategic communications efforts in support of program objectives * Maintain coordination and information sharing across a geographically dispersed team environment * Support leadership with program execution oversight and industrial base risk mitigation activities Required Qualifications: * Active SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field * 6+ years of professional experience supporting manufacturing, research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E), defense industrial base initiatives, acquisition programs, or related efforts; additional relevant experience or military service in a related specialty may be considered in lieu of degree requirements * Demonstrated knowledge of the Department of War acquisition lifecycle and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process * Experience identifying and mitigating industrial base risks through analytical, programmatic, or acquisition-focused efforts * Experience preparing written reports, briefings, and analytical products for senior government or military leadership * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint * Experience coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders across government, industry, or academic organizations Preferred Qualifications: * Experience supporting the Office of the Secretary of War or a similar strategic-level staff organization * Experience briefing and advising senior military leaders, including Flag and General Officers * Knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologies applied to technical or programmatic challenges * Familiarity with advanced manufacturing, microelectronics, batteries, critical materials, kinetic capabilities, or workforce development initiatives * Experience leading on-site implementation of project plans and execution activities * Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management certification * Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher with experience supporting process improvement initiatives * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences * Ability to operate effectively within a collaborative, high-tempo team environment In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), if you have a disability and would like to request an accommodation in order to apply for a position with ANSER, please call 703-416-2000 or e-mail [email protected] ANSER is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
