This is a remote project with a federal client.
There will be infrequent meetings onsite in Virginia so candidates within driving distance are strongly preferred.

We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Project Manager to support a large-scale federal cloud modernization program focused on enterprise Salesforce and CRM platforms. This role operates in a high-visibility, mission-driven environment delivering secure, scalable applications across a complex enterprise ecosystem.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned IT program leader with deep experience managing Salesforce or enterprise CRM programs, strong Agile delivery expertise, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams in regulated environments. This role requires strong stakeholder management skills and hands-on experience supporting enterprise releases, governance, and production application delivery.
Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce and enterprise application programs within a large-scale government environment
  • Manage cross-functional Agile teams across multiple technical workstreams
  • Oversee full program lifecycle including planning, execution, delivery, and production deployment
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Drive release management, governance, and delivery coordination across environments
  • Develop and manage program plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
  • Coordinate with technical and business stakeholders to define requirements and delivery expectations
  • Track and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple teams
  • Support DevSecOps coordination and enterprise deployment activities
  • Ensure alignment between technical teams, leadership, and stakeholders throughout delivery
  • Communicate program status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Lead efforts supporting modernization and migration of legacy applications to cloud platforms
  • Ensure smooth operation of production application teams and enterprise release cycles
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of IT program or project management experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing Salesforce programs or enterprise CRM environments
  • Experience supporting a government client or working in a government or highly regulated environment
  • Strong experience with Agile delivery methodologies and full lifecycle program management
  • Experience leading enterprise production application teams and deployments
  • Experience with release management, governance, and SDLC processes
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, including engagement with senior leadership
  • Experience coordinating DevSecOps or enterprise CI/CD delivery environments
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stream programs in fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification (or equivalent project management certification)
  • Scrum Master or Agile certifications
  • Salesforce Administrator certification
  • SAFe and/or ITIL certification (nice to have)
  • Federal civilian or DHS experience strongly preferred
