Project Analyst – DDG 51 Support Team

The DDG 51 Support Team is seeking a Project Analyst to support the PMS 400D Engineering & Material Services Branch at the Washington Navy Yard. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience supporting Navy programs, engineering documentation, and program execution. The selected candidate will play a key role in tracking technical deliverables, analyzing program performance metrics, identifying risks, and supporting stakeholder coordination efforts that contribute directly to the success of the DDG 51 program.

Primary Responsibilities

These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Track Technical Instructions (TIs) developed and submitted by Lead Yard or Follow Yard Services (LYS and FYS) from issuance to completion

  • Review, tracking, and providing feedback on Weekly/Monthly CDRL metrics on Cost Performance Indexes (CPI), Schedule Performance Indexes (SPI), alignment and adherence to Budget at Complete (BAC) compared to Estimate at Complete (EAC)

  • Identifying areas of risk based on performance of TIs and CDRLs

  • Develop meeting minutes and record action items to support PMS 400D7 Contract Office Representatives (CORs)

  • Collaborate with Configuration Management and Data Management organizations to ensure version control and process flows for TI management

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience supporting Navy engineering, ship modernization, maintenance, or acquisition programs; OR 7+ years of relevant Navy platform experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience managing Technical Instructions (TIs), engineering documentation, or similar technical work products.

  • Experience tracking program performance, cost, and schedule metrics.

  • Knowledge of Configuration Management and document control processes.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
