About the Role

Join a mission-critical team delivering staff action support that enables National Guard Bureau senior leaders to efficiently coordinate positions with OSD, CJCS, WHS, and other agencies. Multiple openings are available to support high-volume tasker management, research, and workflow coordination across NGB ExecSec, DM&A, JACO, and ANG offices.

This role directly contributes to faster decision-making, stronger institutional knowledge, and enhanced National Guard readiness through reliable multi-domain operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and manage the Electronic Tasking System and related tools, including NGB ETMS2, HAF ETMS2, TNT Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint-based workflows across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks.
  • Enter, track, package, and distribute taskers and documents while maintaining the official document repository.
  • Maintain events calendars, coordinate meeting details and RSVPs, and provide comprehensive research support for Joint Staff and Office of the Chief NGB requirements.
  • Support business process improvements, quality control of coordinated responses, and compliance with security, OPSEC, CUI, and installation access policies.
  • Assist with training, workflow standardization, and data management to ensure uninterrupted performance during base and option periods.
  • Collaborate across NGB, ARNG, and ANG components to deliver timely, accurate staff actions that clearly articulate leadership decisions and positions.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Communications, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in tasker/workflow management, staff action support, program analysis, or administrative coordination in a DoD or federal environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and electronic task management or workflow tools.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive work.
  • Active Top Secret clearance or current TS/SCI eligibility, or ability to obtain.
  • Ability to obtain a CAC and complete required background investigations and trainings, including OPSEC, AT Level I, Cyber Awareness, and related requirements.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting NGB, ARNG, ANG, or similar joint staff action environments.
  • Familiarity with classified multi-domain systems, including NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS.
  • Experience with ETMS or equivalent electronic task management systems.
  • Prior experience with process improvement, quality control, or training support in a government setting.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
