Job description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Management Analyst 2 for a contract opportunity in Newport News, VA.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • Project Management
  • Purchase Requisition creation and updating ECD’s with vendors
  • High Pace environment requiring ability to work on own to resolve issues to support ultimate creation of purchase requisitions.
  • Each day encounters unique challenges requiring problem solving skills with engineering, planning and program.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • Experience in SAP a plus.


REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree required.

School must be accredited.


HOURS

5/40, First Shift 7:30AM-4:00 PM.

  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
