Project Administrator / Customer Service Coordinator – Industrial Repair & Service Center


A growing industrial repair and service company with a facility in the Pontiac, Michigan area is currently seeking a Project Administrator / Customer Service Coordinator for a Direct Hire opportunity with their team.


Compensation is anticipated to be based on each candidate's experience and qualifications. All well-qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime opportunities may be available.

Qualified Project Administrator / Customer Service Coordinators will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

  • 2+ years of recent experience in project administration, customer service, order entry, service coordination, purchasing, or administrative support.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, distribution, service center, repair, or related operations is highly preferred.
  • Experience processing customer orders, purchase orders, quotes, invoices, or service-related documentation.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, materials, inventory, logistics, shipping, receiving, and project schedules.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience working with ERP, MRP, inventory management, purchasing, or business software systems is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal personnel.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience supporting repair, maintenance, industrial equipment, rotating equipment, pumps, motors, or related service operations is advantageous.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Additional education in business, operations, supply chain, or a related field is beneficial but not essential. Equivalent experience will be strongly considered.
  • Must be able to work in the United States. No H-1 sponsorship or student visas will be considered.
  • Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background check, drug screen, and references.
