Position Summary...The Senior Manager, People Enablement serves as a strategic partner and program leader within the Walmart US People organization. This role is responsible for enabling People Partner and business success through the delivery of people strategies, organizational planning, and high-impact program execution. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic thinking, strong analytical rigor, exceptional attention to detail, and acute problem-solving skills. Success in this role requires deep data fluency, disciplined execution, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights while driving scalable, innovative solutions in partnership with cross-functional teams.What you'll do...Strategic Partnership & Organizational Planning
Act as a trusted advisor to senior People leaders, aligning people strategies with business priorities and driving enterprise-wide talent initiatives.
Lead organizational design and workforce planning efforts to optimize structure, capabilities, and performance across the business.
Support People Team and Business Unit organizational planning, including collaboration on executive-level org design and long-term workforce strategies.
Cyclical People Processes
Drive seamless execution of cyclical people programs across Walmart US, ensuring alignment with Walmart US People priorities.
Lead end-to-end program management for key people initiatives such as workforce management, talent reviews, performance and pay planning, associate engagement, and the Annual Operating Plan.
Develop and manage program plans and timelines with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across deliverables, communications, and reporting.
Anticipate and proactively resolve issues through structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
AI & Technology-Driven People Solutions
Champion the integration of AI and digital tools into people processes to enhance talent acquisition, development, and workforce planning.
Partner with cross-functional teams to embed AI solutions into systems and workflows, improving efficiency and the associate experience.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Conduct rigorous workforce analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; ensure insights are accurate, validated, and actionable.
Apply strong analytical reasoning to solve complex people and organizational challenges, using data to inform recommendations and decision pathways.
Build dashboards, reporting, and predictive models with a high degree of precision, ensuring data integrity and clarity for senior leaders.
Process Optimization & Change Leadership
Diagnose inefficiencies through data and structured problem-solving; design scalable improvements grounded in evidence and best practices.
Lead change management efforts that support organizational transformation and adoption of new tools, technologies, and ways of working.
Establish governance mechanisms and quality controls to ensure high-accuracy execution of people programs.
What you’ll bring
7+ years of experience in program management, organizational effectiveness, or related delivery roles.
Advanced data acumen, including the ability to analyze complex datasets, validate accuracy, and translate insights into clear strategies and recommendations.
Exceptional attention to detail with a demonstrated track record of producing high-quality, error-free work in fast-paced environments.
Acute problem-solving skills, including structured thinking, root-cause analysis, and the ability to resolve ambiguous challenges with sound judgment.
Strong project management expertise within agile environments, coupled with disciplined execution and effective prioritization skills.
Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and influence at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated experience in organizational design, workforce planning, and strategic partnership (preferred).
Experience with AI-driven solutions and digital transformation (preferred).
Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
