Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking Program Management Executive Assistant (Level M) position based in Berkeley, Missouri.
This is a developmental opportunity to work directly with the Vice President of Program Management and Business Transformation, as well as senior executive members of the BDS Leadership Teams.
This role serves as the key integrator of the function's management system, ensuring alignment across BDS divisions and functions to enable disciplined execution, reporting, and coordination in support of BDS CEO visibility and needs. The selected leader will partner closely with senior leadership to translate strategic organizational priorities into actionable plans and provide insight into program performance.
Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Supports Program Management and Business Transformation leadership on long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives and initiatives.
  • Ability to operate strategically, participate in high-level strategic deliberations and offer confidential thoughts and input to act as a sounding board to the PM and BT leadership team to help refine and advance key initiatives.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders and leadership to enable effective decision-making.
  • Supports the PM/BT executive operating rhythm, including reviews, readiness assessments, and strategic planning activities.
  • Supports the BDS CEO operating rhythm for key BDS reporting requirements and reviews

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position is for 1st shift.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Secret Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
  • Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions or initiatives
  • 5+ years of experience with program oversight and metrics reporting
  • Experience in building strong business relationships and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) or something similar
  • Experience in one or more functional areas
  • Experience operating in a complex, multi-program or portfolio environment
  • Experience developing a team to enhance engagement and performance

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.)
